In the 3rd quarter of this year prices for villas in Dubai (UAE) grew by 20%

For the first time after price reductions of villas due to global economic recession, their value increased by 20% during the third quarter of this year. This increase in prices is due to rising demand for family housing, which will continue in 2010, if the supply gap continues in contrast to the excess apartment supply.

According to analysts, the number of new residential spaces in 2010 will reach to a figure of about 50 thousand units which includes only 20% of villas. By 2011 and 2012 the number of new villas in Dubai will be reduced to 5% and 3% respectively.
